Infrared Imaging provide a thermal imaging service to numerous clients around Australia.

Infrared Imaging predominately thermal survey electrical infrastructure, identifying areas of greater resistance in electrical connections, which we see as a “hot spot” on the thermal camera.

Infrared Imaging are the only service provider in Australia with the FLIR T1k and FLIR GF306 thermal imaging cameras. The FLIR T1k is the highest resolution hand held camera in the country, enabling us to identify faults at an early stage of failure and so protecting people and assets. As we continually tell our clients “resolution is critical, you can’t report on something you can’t see”.

The FLIR GF306 thermal camera is predominately used in high voltage situations to identify Sulfur Hexafluoride gas leaks. Sulfur Hexafluoride is used as an insulating gas in high voltage applications but is also listed as one of the most damaging greenhouse gases at 23,900 times more damaging to the environment than CO2. It is critical that leaks are identified and repaired in a timely manner to prevent power interruptions and damage to the environment. Infrared Imaging are the only thermal imaging service provider in the country with a FLIR GF 306 camera.
